Sunday 4/26/2020 Bible Class

Hi HCOC parents!

I hope this email finds you doing well! I’m really excited about this weekend’s message for kids. It’s all about the personal transformation we experience when we become followers of Jesus. I pray that it’s a blessing to not only your kids but to you as well.

When you’re ready, start your morning of worship by watching the short lesson video with your kids. It’s designed to be both fun and interactive. (You can access the YouTube playlist here.) The video will prompt you to answer a question with your family. It’s a great way to engage spiritually with one another. Afterwards, there are two great worship videos from Yancy to choose from: one is for older kids and one is for younger kids. If you want to sing more Yancy songs with your kids throughout the week, you can stream them here or buy them in her store for 20% off through 4/30/20 when you use the code GO2020.

Here is a snapshot of the lesson details for this week:

Bible Story: Saul Sees the Light (Acts 9:1-19)

Big Idea: Jesus changes our hearts, so we are a new creation when we follow Him.

Memory Verse: “When anyone lives in Christ, the new creation has come. The old is gone! The new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIrV)

After the video lesson and music, you can use the attached materials to help take your family deeper into the lesson:

  • Family activities guide
  • Coloring page for kids
  • GO! Home guide for kids

And finally, I want to leave you with this blessing from Numbers 6:24-26: “May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He smile on you and be gracious to you; may He look your way and give you peace.” Your family is in my prayers!

In Him,

What's God's plan for us? Phil Vischer, founder of Jellyfish Labs and co-creator of the acclaimed VeggieTales, answers the question by looking at the book of Ephesians. With the help of some animated friends, Phil unpacks what it means to live the way God intends—for us and for the whole world.
This second installment in the RightNow-exclusive series packs tons of good theology into short sessions that everyone can enjoy.

Here is the lesson for tonight, I hope you will watch it together as a family..
